This adapter is an alternative way of securing a trailer to a bicycle in the event that the rear wheel axle is too long or does not spring back, making it impossible to fit the conventional coupling piece on the axle. The part with the spring fits into the drawbar of the trailer (spring diameter 21mm), the clamp fits onto the frame (15 to 35 mm diameter). Be careful not to pinch the brake cable or other moving parts when mounting. Compatible with STORAG trailers. Always attach the trailer safety strap to the bike.
